It's time for Star Trek: Cetacean Ops with a completely whale and dolphin crew to get greenlit. Somebody already did fully aquatic ship tech in Enterprise with the shell-less sea turtle people. Second Contact missions where a biped ship did the other half would be pretty darn funny. Somebody get Baby Ellison on the phone!
It is actually odd that whales never reappear in any way since they are clearly in contact with other aliens. Shouldn’t they join the Federation or something?
Oh, but they did, though I reckon you have to be a special kind of whale to want to live in whatever space they can allocate to you on a starship.
Whoa I never caught all that.
the other half
sentient shells?
Spock doesn't know how to use the word hell I guess
Yes in IV he attempts to adopt period-specific profanities to better blend into the 20th century. This is also why he has the headband: to hide his Vulcan ears from people who’ve never seen an alien. However in typical strict-logic fashion, he applies the profane modifiers and emphases arbitrarily, to great comic effect. There is no meme here, this is direct out of the film’s script.

Oh my god I rolled on the floor for double digit minutes over this line.
Of course I do. Hell. 🖖
Its a place to go, right?
Star Trek TOS. In on a global warming could destroy us all plot.
Rare moment when Spock was making perfect sense to humans.
Could be her whales in the way that a person can refer to "my friends" or a professional can refer to "my clients" without the implication that the speaker owns those people.
Yes I once referred to the engineers on my team at work as “my engineers” in a conversation and someone got greatly offended by that, as if I was saying I owned them, though that was far from my intended meaning. “They are not the hell your engineers.”
“What’s up, my whales?!”
That's our word!

Yeah, but she says that they are Her whales in Her tank
