Could set up just to make a video which is just sad, the cats don't look like they have been there long.

On the other hand if there is someone that buys a cage just to slowly kill them is just fucked up.

People can be this bad, sometimes it is revenge based on a partner or similar.

We had somebody find a pitbull in a cage out on the beach, with the tide coming in. I assume in that case it was a gang retaliation against anothers prized pet.

I'll never watch these: "we found a poor hungry dog and adopted him." Videos for the same reason. People do a lot for online attention.
