All of these companies are completely and utterly out of ideas
The app store is the biggest video game storefront in the world by revenue (play store beats it handily on volume), so it makes sense to start selling video game accessories.
I just hope the controllers are long lasting and easy to self service, like valve makes. I have my doubts with Apple.
I wouldn't put it past Apple that newer Iphones wouldn't be compatible with PS & Xbox controllers anymore.
I don't think of this. That's some thinking with foresight.
Long overdue. Hopefully they launch them with the new AppleTV and make it into a proper console with JIT-enabled emulation. That would be the hottest thing since the Steam Deck. But I doubt it will happen.
