If I made up a stupid date format like HHHH:YY:M I could make some familiar numbers too.

This is under no circumstance okay.
In 5 years it'll be 31/4/15 9:26:53 for you, but that requires getting rid of 0 padding april which i don't like.
People complaining about the time and date format, and not the equal sign for an approximation...

Still works as there're plenty of mathematicians that would love for people to acknowledge the infinite zeros preceding each number.
The real problem in this case is if you write september as 09.
I refuse to accept date/time formats that don't sort automatically. yyyy-MM-dd or bust
