For a second I was like "Wait, why are we Donkey?", and then I thought about it for a second, and I was like... yeah actually that does fit.

Donkey is the fun and flexible one who comes in clutch when needed, Shrek has serious old-man-energy and is pretty stubborn and grumpy most of the time and just wants to be left alone but also does a lot of the heavy lifting. It actually kind of works. :) It's kind of why Canada and Europe work so well as a team too.
