Kid i worked with was stoned every minute of every day. After about 3 years of working with him he ran out of weed one day. He was absolutely fucking useless sober.
The boss sent him home, assuming that he'd went into work stoned that one time...
I would say my experience is similar. When first quitting, working is practically impossible for the first week.
This becomes a vicious cycle where in the short term you have to keep smoking to stay afloat

Best decision of my life and it's the longest I've ever been sober.
I've been smoking weed almost daily in the past 3 years. It's not good for pulling yourself out of the pit, buzz God-damn does it feel good the moment you light one up.
Sad that it's illegal here.
