Too many stripes!

Vertical thin stripes on the shirt Horizontal thick stripes on the tie Vertical and horizontal lines on the jacket Only one solid color - the trousers

I live by the tenet that you should only wear one pattern at a time. I think two can fit together, but three is definitely too much. Switch the tie, the color also clashes.

The red looks good, and I think the shirt works well too. I don't like the tie, but I'm not sure what would work. The knit texture looks good, so maybe try a solid color knit tie?

Ok, a plain white shirt and a plain tie (or no tie) would save it.

Maybe even a plain pale red shirt and a red tie would work better for a monochromatic -leaning look.
