The focus on discoverability is a very good decision imo, if we ever want the average person to be using FOSS Android apps and Google Play to have a stronger competition then the repository should be able to recommend apps to people who don't know about them and aren't nerds enough to go looking for alternatives when their adware from Google Play kinda gets the job done

Do people need to wait for it to be rolled out with an update, like the usual updates or will current F-droid users need to install the new version?

Does it do anything different with the incoming g∞gle dev registration requirement?
