I would love it if they gave the "horn" horn a proper name. Like yeah, "tenor horn" "baritone horn" is somewhat descriptive, but "horn" by itself is too generic!
And the English Horn? Forget it! That shit's got reeds in it!
Horn refers to the bell shape usually- which is why saxophones are horns but flutes and straight cornetts aren't.
