To their credit, they did try to do better.

In a very real sense cell phones and the way they are used to produce / distribute propaganda and misinformation are directly related to America bombing Iran.
In the same way a pencil and paper are responsible for the bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, yes.
But I don't blame a device for that. Same as I don't blame AI for AI. I blame evil megacorps and the corrupt politicians who let them do whatever they want.
TIL that Boomers do not watch Fox News, but actually bother to read something on a tiny screen with teensy font size.
It's a good thing that Boomers don't vote either!

As a blanket statement, probably not. But giving a child a phone is kinda insane and makes it worse.
