I don't believe this shit. It's a psyop to get blue voters complacent and not go out to vote.

We're absolutely fucked unless everyone gets out to vote in person. Even then we may still be fucked.

[-] TheGoldenV@lemmy.world 17 points 1 day ago

Oh we’re definitely still fucked.

Yeah, the realistic goal is harm reduction at this point.

[-] My_IFAKs___gone@lemmy.world 31 points 1 day ago

They'll do anything and everything to win, except trying to make anything better.

[-] CharlesDarwin@lemmy.world 15 points 1 day ago

Yep. They have a billion dollars to spend on lies for Republicans and will literally do that versus trying to do anything at all for the American people.

Cruelty is the highest of points

Maybe people would like it to be way worse? Let's try that instead.

For the love of god VOTE FOR PROGRESSIVES AND DEMOCRATIC SOCIALISTS.

If they're not in your races, then vote blue and we'll hope for the best.

Trump: what's after 2?
Science advisor: 3!
Trump: 3, 2... What was there again?
Science advisor: 3.

I want these stories to be true, but nobody expected the previous election disasters, and people are stupid.

[-] gAlienLifeform@lemmy.world 6 points 21 hours ago

Actually lots of people did and kept trying to tell Harris' campaign she needed to change her position on Israel, the economy, and other positions where she was fighting her own base, but I guess they all got drown out by BlueMAGA cheerleaders calling all of those people Republican shills

[-] maxthemummer@lemmus.org 2 points 16 hours ago

Oh, I have faith that our electorate will remain complacent this November as Republicans retain power through election shenanigans.

Triage and defensive?

You were okay with trump trying to murder congress, selling nuclear secrets and ruining the economy, but now you are wondering what you did wrong?

[-] BarneyPiccolo@lemmy.today 11 points 1 day ago

This may be the biggest Midterm bloodbath in history. MAGA is so underwater, that there are going to be flips in both the House and the Senate that NOBODY is expecting.

Then the chaos will start. MAGA can't leave office in 2028, or they will go to prison, and possibly worse. They will do anything and everything to gain 1000% control. Expect lots of arrests for dissent, and violence.

I am sure the wise American nation will find the way to make things worse.

[-] CharlesDarwin@lemmy.world 6 points 1 day ago

I love that for them. 😀

[-] resipsaloquitur@lemmy.cafe 4 points 1 day ago

Fuck every Republican after Lincoln.

[-] baronvonj@piefed.social 6 points 1 day ago

Teddy gave us the National Parks system, Eisenhower gave us the Interstate Highway system and in his closing address said we should chill out on military contracts and instead feed and clothe the poor.

[-] resipsaloquitur@lemmy.cafe 0 points 22 hours ago

Teddy was super racist and a warmonger, so hard pass on him.

Eisenhower was surprisingly cool, I’ll give you that.

[-] darthsundhaft@piefed.social 1 points 23 hours ago

Hahahahahahaha

There's this movie called Old Yeller that spells out a strategy that might work for them, but they're grafted lips to ass with this orange asshole, so there's no disassociating from him or his horrors in living memory, regardless of what they do or say after he's out.
