Reading a hefty old tome.
Grocery shopping. Ideally later than 10pm. Safly fewer and fewer stores are open that late.
Drugs and crime.
Survey says: Top Answer!
Flying a kite.

Literally anything for me. I'm a naturally very nocturnal person. If left to form my own sleep cycle without having to accommodate others, I fall asleep around sunrise.
Same. Just really sucks when no one understands that's how you are and thinks your weird and/or doesn't factor that into things/ are not accommodating. If it was the other way around, they'd be upset.
Locking in on a big assignment is way easier in the evening for me for some reason.
Like, everything. At night I feel at peace and my mind is calm. The world is silent (at least where I live at night). I can watch tv shows, anime or a movie in peace. I can stare at the wall in peace, I can just… think and be an weird introverted dude.
Havin a day fire, but at night
Sleeping, astronomy.
Astronomy best only at night? Where is you God now?
I didn't say "only".
Yeah god, where is you? Out in the Pacific or something???
Thieving.
Watching a movie.
Vampiring
Riding a rollercoaster
It just feels more intense
Committing crimes, probably?
Ecstasy. With glow sticks.
Alternatively, smoking weed and watching nature documentaries until you fall asleep.
Using my telescope to look at stars. Only one star is visible during the daytime.
this is just big telescope propaganda. in the day you don't even need a telescope to stare at the star.
I mean you can look at the Sun through a telescope. Just don't forget the solar filter!
Having a fire and staring up at the stars
Man, it's been to long... :3
Sleep.
Everything. I've always been a night person, and doing everything is much more enjoyable when there's peace, no one is going to bother me, no one is going to call on the phone. Whether it is work or studying or watching movies or playing video games or exercise or anything...... It is always much better late at night.
I've started trying to replicate this in the day. I leave most calls unanswered and most messages unreplied till I'm ready and free. I go to work in a shared office and put in earphones immediately. I try to go to work late and stay late. It isn't very effective.
Playing horror games, watching horror movies.
I miss grocery shopping in walmart at 2am.
sex with ugly people.
How you doing?
Depression
Fire
walking the neighborhood for leisure/exercise/recreation
Brainstorming for writing. I get some great ideas for worldbuilding and novel ideas laying down preparing to sleep.
Going for a joy ride on my e-scooter.
I'm almost 40 and just got a new e-scooter. U can do it man!
Getting drunk. Day drinking just seems weird.
Mushrooms. Day trips have their place, but the night time is the right time.
gardening.
Most of the gardening for me has been in these blazing hot days, trying to go out at night or early early morning has been the only way it makes sense to me this year
I remember reading in the Old Farmers Almanac that weeding is best done on dark nights, claimed that some seeds in the soil are stimulated when exposed to light, weeding in daytime causes more weeds to sprout than weeding in the dark. Never researched to see if backed by studies though.
It's true and just makes sense when you touch plants enough. When it's hot everything's squeezed up and when it's cooling off it's letting go. Like breathing vs out. Idk how much of a difference the night being dark makes lol
E: I apparently glazed over the bit about seed stimulation there, but night time is the right time for sure
yeah but it was considered ungentelmanely way back when. so it was important when doing it that you don't get caught if you wanted to maintain the appearance of being a gentleman.
You are either Michael Stipe or my wife. Either way, interesting.
Your wife is Michael Stipe? Lucky man.
I mean that bald beutiful head. As a non sequitor I met the guy who became obamas white house chef and he 100% made me feel I was looking at stipe.
