As he slides into full dementia he's just saying his internal dialogue out loud? JFC

[-] El_Scapacabra@lemmy.zip 3 points 18 hours ago

Yes, and he also realizes he can say the stupidest things and they'd clap.

[-] EatMyPixelDust@lemmy.blahaj.zone 4 points 18 hours ago

The really weird bit comes after that statement, where he starts listing things like "tax cuts" as "common sense", but then just starts babbling a random string of numbers.

[-] switcheroo@lemmy.world 8 points 22 hours ago

Just like the time he said "I don't care about you, I only care about your vote."

They are hopeless. Beyond fucking stupid. And what's funny is Dump knows it. He knows no intelligent person likes him--- and that pisses him off because he really wants their respect.

Ha ha loser.

[-] Zink@programming.dev 1 points 17 hours ago

I can see there being a large number of seemingly intelligent people with enough self-awareness to know that Trump gives no shits about them, but they are still totally fine with him because they are a bad person in some other way. I could see it being because they are both "alphas" and "game respect game," and/or because (they think) he will produce some result they want.

Conservatives can be very "ends justify the means" which is why fascism is such a natural evolution. Hell even forgetting what I said about alpha douches... There are tired old ladies all over this country who would agree that Trump world not piss on them if they were on fire, but it is still an overwhelmingly good thing that he is president because Roe got overturned. I was born into a white catholic family, so I'm pretty sure I'm related to some.

[-] skeezix@lemmy.world 3 points 22 hours ago

Think of how stupid the average conservative is, then remember: half of them are stupider than that.

[-] ilinamorato@lemmy.world 2 points 18 hours ago

actualy just statistical error. MAGA Georg, who is part of MENSA but bought a red hat by mistake and has an IQ of 175, is an outlier adn should not have been counted.

-People who are going to Vote for his JOKING THIRD Term!

[-] El_Scapacabra@lemmy.zip 2 points 18 hours ago

"Oh no, he deported my Mexican wife that he joked about deporting!"

[-] ikidd@lemmy.dbzer0.com 17 points 1 day ago

I mean, he already does. They're idiots, they'll clap for anything said by anyone as long as they know someone they irrationally hate will suffer.

[-] Bwaz@lemmy.world 20 points 1 day ago

He DOES say rhe stupidest things, regularly, and they clap.

[-] nforminvasion@lemmy.world 10 points 1 day ago

Sometimes I think he hates his supporters more than progressives, leftists, unionists, and bipoc people.

I don't know if that's certifiable, but my gosh does he DESPISE his own people.

[-] Azal@pawb.social 5 points 19 hours ago

He does. They're not rich, they can't do anything for him other than vote. Trump doesn't involve himself with anyone who can't give him something.

If they were outside his place asking for anything he'd be the first to call security to get the "undesirables" out.

Because those unwashed masses cling to him, want to be near him. He can’t stand them because he thinks he’s the smartest person in the room and everyone around him is stupid. He’s classist AF.

[-] GuyFawkesV@lemmy.world 22 points 1 day ago

Democracy doesn’t work when the base is this dumb. Need to find another way.

[-] StabbingSky@lemmy.zip 12 points 1 day ago

Ironically, this was what the EC was supposed to protect us from.

[-] socsa@piefed.social 11 points 1 day ago

A rare moment of lucidity

[-] thethunderwolf@lemmy.dbzer0.com 25 points 1 day ago

he knows this from experience

[-] maxthemummer@lemmus.org 6 points 1 day ago

It's his stand up comic's cadence so that when he delivers a "punch line," they cheer.

[-] tidderuuf@lemmy.world 125 points 1 day ago

He finally said what we were all saying this entire time. I hope those stupid people could understand what their stupidity has cost this nation.

[-] Soulphite@reddthat.com 90 points 1 day ago

He's said in multiple occasions that he loves the poorly educated. Also, smart people don't like him.

Directly calling your supporters stupid and they cheer.

There far too stupud to put that together. They’re like, hate junkies.

[-] Sunflier@lemmy.world 39 points 1 day ago* (last edited 1 day ago)

They’re like, hate junkies.

Hate is the opiate of the masses. Some say it's religion, but that's incorrect. Religion is merely a syringe of choice.

Yes. As evidenced by the last decade...

[-] tea_n_typewriters@lemmy.world 95 points 1 day ago

I’m not a great lip reader, but that woman in red on the back left looks like she says “That’s true” right after he says it.

He’s making fun of you, Barbara.

[-] melsaskca@lemmy.ca 25 points 1 day ago

Mob mentality and groupthink are very powerful. On another note, trump does say the stupidest things.

They really are that dumb

[-] MasutaHarada@thelemmy.club 17 points 1 day ago

It is fascinating really, what kind of word spouted from trump so his supporter gonna jeer and give middle finger instead?

maybe when he speech about everybody need to be nice to each other ?

They booed him once. It was during COVID, he had spent the last 6 months calling it fake, but at some point for a brief moment he realized it was serious. He told everyone at his rally they needed to get the vaccine. The crowd turned on him quick.

[-] CharlesDarwin@lemmy.world 2 points 21 hours ago

And you know that he got that vaccine ASAP, since he's old and fat AF.

[-] kmartburrito@lemmy.world 13 points 1 day ago
[-] butsbutts@lemmy.ml 1 points 18 hours ago

yaaa wooo!!!!

[-] GrumpyGrampa@lemmy.zip 5 points 1 day ago

Hey Trumpy, you never disappoint with your stupid remarks. Even if you think they are smart. Anyone tell ya they are laughing AT YOU, not WITH YOU?

[-] TomMasz@piefed.social 23 points 1 day ago

Either they're not actually listening to the words or they are listening and it doesn't matter to them.

I can't decide which is worse.

[-] maxthemummer@lemmus.org 21 points 1 day ago

I think it's his tone of voice that matters most to his audience, the words go by too quickly for them to process, much like when you speak to a dog.

[-] meco03211@lemmy.world 7 points 1 day ago

I have literally said some of the meanest things (I'm willing to say) my dog using a nice voice. She just wags her tail and comes in for snuggles.

Look at the faces of the fucking morons behind him after he says this.

They'll learn absolutely nothing from this, either.
