This guy has zero moral compass. He's only worried about how he'll look.

Imagine this fuckers name staying on anything after he's gone if he livestreams this. We must do everything possible to remove this stain from this country when he's gone.

If his name remains on anything regardless, I will be disappointed.

[-] MagicShel@lemmy.zip 13 points 3 days ago

Donald J. Trump Memorial Port-a-Potty can stay.

[-] MrVilliam@sh.itjust.works 16 points 3 days ago

Sure, if that's what his tombstone will read.

[-] ironhydroxide@sh.itjust.works 5 points 3 days ago

I'm sure it can be made to read that, even though that feels redundant.

It will probably be one of those long standing issues like civil war confederate statues and such.

[-] Pofski@lemmy.world 7 points 3 days ago

His name needs to stay. There needs to be a constant reminder of what happened, who let it happen and what the consequences are. Sweeping everything under the rug is the cowards way out,

[-] bjc@scribe.disroot.org 11 points 3 days ago

no. his name should be dust. people have lots of motivations, and immortality is probably the biggest

and all these assholes are narcissists. give them nothing, not even a memory of them

[-] CharlesDarwin@lemmy.world 5 points 3 days ago

I'd rather split the difference, have nothing that honors him in any way - no airports, ships, buildings, money, passports with his stupid name or face on it.

But keep his memory around to talk about in nearly the same tones we talk about Nixon or Hitler.

[-] bjc@scribe.disroot.org 6 points 3 days ago

all a narcissist sees is immortality. they have no moral center to judge actions as good or bad, so it’s all the same to them how they get in the history books

the only answer to narcissism is obliteration.

No no, there should be a directive to use a firing squad on people that elect these assholes and the reasoning should be that if you are stupid enough to elect someone like Trump after everything he and his ilk have done then you should suffer the consequences from something that he enabled, courtesy of Donald J. Trump.

Yeah no shit, he deeply cares about negative PR right now. Midterms in less than a month.

[-] I_Jedi@lemmy.today 18 points 3 days ago

"If we encourage shooting criminals dead, won't they do the same to me?"

[-] dudeface@lemmy.world 10 points 3 days ago

Pity he doesn’t hold power to prevent such a thing

[-] Etterra@discuss.online 2 points 2 days ago

Only because it's unpopular.

[-] TrackenDaKracken@lemmy.world 6 points 3 days ago

Further erosion of his popularity number before the mid-terms would be the one, small silver lining.

....him, after sitting in on 75 hidden executions between 2025 and 2026: Hmm yeah maybe people should not see how barbaric our party is.
