I think I've found my apartment
Woot woot!
That's great news ๐
Exciting/scary news. I might have to use you as inspiration to finally start my own house hunt, which I fully intended to begin in August and still haven't done yet!
Excellent ๐ค
Rock & roll!
I found mine but someone else bought it. I may have found another.
Yay! Offer, luck token, no panic
The complete ineptness of people on late night infomercials never fails to amuse. Aparently pouring the contents of a saucepan into a strainer is a nearly impossible task, destined to end in failure.
And there are those that struggle with a mop & bucket.
I struggle with a mop and bucket. I've lived in too many hippie houses that the floor is not too far from the outside.
I don't even use a bucket. I use one of those mops with a pad and a spray bottle attached. Life changing.
I use that system too. So easy and works well.
I have a power version of those as an attachment on my vaccum. Two spinning mop pads and a spray attachment. I don't think it does as good a job as a proper mop though, so I still use the mop and bucket for a deeper clean periodically.
The thing ro remember is that they're selling accessibility aids.
It's stuff meant for people like me, except it has to be marketed to people like you or it will never turn a profit.
That is sometimes true, but I think in this case it was just a gimicky saucepan set. Like many of these ads the 'solution' they are showing to the problem doesn't actually work any better. In this case they 'solved' having to hold a strainer and a saucepan at the same time by having a built in strainer that pivots as you pour the contents out. But with handles on both sides of the pot it makes it hard to actually hold and tip a large pan whilst holding it up. A freestanding collander in the sink and resting the pan on the side of the sink while you tip the first of the contents out and lighten the load seems a much safer/easie option to me. Or if it was set up like my mum's tipping kettle that has a stand so you don't have to hold the weight in your hands.
Just hosted my first proper function through trivia. Vic Socialists had a campaign launch I couldn't male because of it. It feels silly to miss out on for a trivia event, but it's for a different good cause
The nightmares have started.
This is a good sign, it means my conscious understanding of the past horrible situation is believed by my subconscious
Years and years on I still struggle with nightmares - even when I theoretically now it's what my brain needs to digest what happened, it's still... a lot.
hugs , I hope they are not too scary or sad or frequent

Problem with the original from cylinder is it went to tape so 2 mechanical recording devices (100 years apart!) which introduces a lot of wow and flutter. A lot more tools today to clean things up audio wise.
That is SO FREAKING COOL and is kind of breaking my nerdy little brain. I love it!! Thanks so much for sharing.
