you mean this time. i'm sure they kept saying his name after the last time he used this same fucking slur.

They also refused to call Elon's Nazi salute a Nazi salute.

ADL is just a tool to hammer at people that Zionists don't like.

If they support you, you can do whatever you like and they won't do shit.

Because he is rich. Rich people have power and live long and happy.

Trump is not happy. It's the one positive thing about him. He's absolutely miserable.

Alive but, Behold. The festering carcass of American rot shoved into an ill-fitting suit: the sleaze of a conman, the cowardice of a draft dodger, the gluttony of a parasite, the racism of a Klansman, the sexism of a back-alley creep, the ignorance of a bar-stool drunk, and the greed of a hedge-fund ghoul all spray-painted orange and paraded like a prize hog at a county fair. Not a president. Not even a man. Just the diseased distillation of everything this country swears it isn’t but has always been arrogance dressed up as exceptionalism, stupidity passed off as common sense, cruelty sold as toughness, greed exalted as ambition, and corruption worshiped like gospel. It is America’s shadow made flesh, a rotting pumpkin idol proving that when a nation kneels before money, power, and spite, it doesn’t just lose its soulit shits out this bloated obscenity and calls it a leader.

The same reason any conservatives are alive. Because Lincoln stopped Sherman before he could finish the job.

A Zionist group trying to get a piece of that 30 million dollars Zohran is giving to Zionist groups like JCRC.

I won’t listen to a word that dickfisting pissfart has to say. I’ll read it, but I’m leaving the room if his voice is heard.

His entire gelatinous existence makes my skin crawl.

TIL that word from Shakespeare is a slur. I only ever knew it from reading the play.

Language has evolved considerably since then.

[-] PattyMcB@lemmy.world 1 points 22 hours ago

Agreed. I've just never encountered it elsewhere, so I didn't know

I've been caught off guard on the internet before. It happens.

This antisalmon phrasing shouldn't even be used. It's anti jewish, semites are a large race of people that includes arabs, and this term is poisoned regardless.

Don't use their terminology, don't let them run the discussions, set the terms. Obviously they have the media so it's not always possible, but it is possible to not use their goddamned terms they use to ratfuck the common good.

[-] givesomefucks@lemmy.world 10 points 1 day ago* (last edited 1 day ago)

If a Democrat used the term Trump did, said Matt Duss, executive vice president at CIP, “Jonathan Greenblatt would be knocking people over to get in front of a camera to condemn them by name, but it was Trump so it’s just a general public service announcement.”

That's not true...

If it was a progressive, sure, but not any dem.

That's not even a hypothetical...

The Vice President should have been more careful,” ADL Director Abe Foxman said on Tuesday in a statement denouncing Biden’s comment.

“When someone as friendly to the Jewish community and open and tolerant an individual as is Vice President Joe Biden, uses the term ‘Shylocked’ to describe unscrupulous moneylenders dealing with service men and women, we see once again how deeply embedded this stereotype about Jews is in society,” he said.

The vice president had been describing his son’s experiences in the US military in Iraq at an event marking marking the 40th anniversary of the Legal Services Corporation.

“That’s one of the things that he finds was most in need when he was over there in Iraq for a year,” Biden said, according to CNN, “that people would come to him and talk about what was happening to them at home in terms of foreclosures, in terms of bad loans that were being…I mean these Shylocks who took advantage of, um, these women and men while overseas.”

Can always count on ole corn pop to let us know how people would react to a Dem saying some stupid shit only a Republican would say.

But Israel (and hence the ADL) don't give a fuck about the letter by a politicians name, they care about what they can get out of them, that's it.

[-] floofloof@lemmy.ca 8 points 1 day ago

They did call Biden out by name, which they didn't for Trump.

[-] givesomefucks@lemmy.world -1 points 1 day ago

as friendly to the Jewish community and open and tolerant an individual as is Vice President Joe Biden,

Oh wow, look how condemned he was...

[-] slothrop@lemmy.ca 3 points 1 day ago

I find that shylocking, I really do.

[-] QueenHawlSera@piefed.social 3 points 1 day ago

What is a Mamdani Monitor?

[-] My_IFAKs___gone@lemmy.world 3 points 1 day ago

Guess that just means anyone can use the term again without repercussions.
