The AI aggregator leaked nearly 23TB of user data, or 17.6 million files, our researchers discovered. The information includes exactly what you’d expect: AI prompts, the machine’s replies, images, videos, and various corporate documents.

Part of me is morbidly curious what kinds of support tickets get generated for sex dolls, but the other part of me thinks it’s best to not know.

"how would you get a small cylinder unstuck from one of your dolls? it is imperative that the cylinder remain unharmed"

[-] LifeInMultipleChoice@lemmy.world 21 points 2 days ago* (last edited 2 days ago)

Step one rotate the doll 180 degrees to unlock the orphace. Attempt to remove the release plug found in the back. Now use hand soap and water to clear the debris obstructing and causing the vacuum to occur. Please take an anti inflammatory and if the issue persists after 20 minutes consult a medical professional.

(The person working there has copy/pasted that to 50 people in the last week, haha)

[-] binglesbongled@lemmy.blahaj.zone 14 points 2 days ago

What a great question, it's not just about the cylinder but the nature of freedom itself! You are right to want to remove the cylinder from your doll....

Almost threw up trying to copy "it's" voice lmao.

I hate that I understood this reference lmao

"I've tried like you would do with the last bit of ketchup in the bottle, but the stuff just wont come out!"

[-] SkaveRat@discuss.tchncs.de 15 points 2 days ago

probably defective part replacement. be it from delivery or usage

[-] BallShapedMan@lemmy.world 7 points 2 days ago

Same, I need someone to look through it and tell me the parts I probably want to know so I don't have to see what I don't want to know.

[-] massive_bereavement@fedia.io 8 points 2 days ago

It's like looking at a car accident. You might be curious but some things might stay with you forever.

[-] BallShapedMan@lemmy.world 3 points 2 days ago

Some shit can't be unseen. I've learned when to close my eyes! 😂

[-] massive_bereavement@fedia.io 4 points 2 days ago

I hope that's not when you're driving 😅

[-] BallShapedMan@lemmy.world 3 points 2 days ago

It's only when I'm driving! Have you seen some of these bumper stickers!

Now I need to believe in Jesus so he can take the wheel...

help, my penis is stuck and I can't get up

I wipe and I wipe and I wipe. still cum. still cum. it's like I'm wiping a custard doughnut

this doll looks like my mother. can I purchase custom dolls that look like the rest of my family?

my wife left me and took my doll with her, do you guys have something like LoJack? HoJack maybe?

[-] FlashMobOfOne@lemmy.world 19 points 2 days ago

I've said it before and I'll say it again.

Don't enter anything into an AI product that you don't want to become public.

[-] Illogicalbit@lemmy.world 13 points 2 days ago

That’s probably a good rule to follow for just about all technology honestly.

[-] FlashMobOfOne@lemmy.world 6 points 2 days ago

You're not wrong.

[-] dil@lemmy.zip 2 points 2 days ago* (last edited 2 days ago)

My logic is itd just help me find likeminded ppl if mass leaked, like trump supports finding each other.

exposed/unprotected azure storage bucket. in 2026.

Jesus tapdancing christ, how is this still a thing?! You have to go out of your way to set up publicly exposed storage like this!

Even the most basic of AI tool, assuming they used them for their terraforming, would know better. Only a complete and utter muppet would set this up and leave it like that.

[-] espentan@lemmy.world 21 points 2 days ago

Probably made it easier to grant someone/something access in a hurry, during development of something, and vows were made to fix it later.

[-] partial_accumen@lemmy.world 12 points 2 days ago* (last edited 2 days ago)

You have to go out of your way to set up publicly exposed storage like this!

Admin: "AI Agent, set up a storage bucket that is accessible by everyone on this list."

AI Agent: "All done boss! Every one of those users can access this newly created bucket!"

[-] very_well_lost@lemmy.world 6 points 2 days ago* (last edited 2 days ago)

Even the most basic of AI tool, assuming they used them for their terraforming, would know better.

You would think so, but no. Not in my experience, at least. Especially if you're focused on a narrow goal or fixing a very specific problem, AI agents tend to fixate on the happy path to the neglect of everything else. They may start out seeing the big picture, but it takes almost no time at all for stuff like security to drop from their attention unless you're actively reminding them.

This is exactly the kind of issue I've seen AI cause at the enterprise I work for.

This is what happens when you have a team that does not give one mote of a shit about their craft, or their customers. Mostly the former.

[-] susieq0044@sh.itjust.works 28 points 2 days ago

Actually, how could a friend of mine find out if he was affected by this?! What could this mean for my friend?

[-] daychilde@lemmy.world 7 points 2 days ago

The friend must remain unharmed!

[-] everett@lemmy.ml 7 points 2 days ago

Better-targeted ads, probably.

My ai history consists of asking advice from deepseek on how to ferment revolution.

[-] prime_number_314159@lemmy.world 10 points 2 days ago

You probably mean to foment revolution

[-] DeadEndLink@lemmy.ca 6 points 1 day ago

No...I wanna turn revolution into yogurt....

No we're open-sourcing booze and partying like it's 1799

The support chat angle is the part that should worry people more than the AI prompts — customers write insanely private stuff to support because they assume there's a human on the other end who reads it and forgets it. Instead it got dumped into the same 23TB bucket as everything else. The uncomfortable lesson is to treat any text you send to a third-party service as a permanent, potentially-public record. Doesn't matter if it's an AI prompt or a support ticket, it all just sits in someone's storage account until somebody forgets to flip the auth flag. That's not really an AI problem, it's a 'your data lives on someone else's infrastructure' problem.

[-] db2@lemmy.world 5 points 2 days ago

Also private chats or messages aren't private even if they say they are.

[-] Jakeroxs@sh.itjust.works 20 points 2 days ago

Companies relying so heavily on third parties for processing and surprised when shit like this happens.

This wouldn't happen if they hosted their own hardware.

[-] danekrae@lemmy.world 11 points 2 days ago

wouldn’t happen if they hosted their own hardware.

Are you talking about the sex dolls?

[-] Jakeroxs@sh.itjust.works 5 points 2 days ago

Hahaha no the LLM support bots/chat infrastructure

[-] ShredderFeeder@shredderfood.net 18 points 2 days ago

Now do the Epstein files. ;-)

[-] ContactClosure@lemmus.org 4 points 2 days ago

23TB seems like a lot of data.
