What would be the best ways that Proton users could help? I've been helping people, especially paying users, that I know personally migrate, with critique written in the cancellation feedback, but on your website there doesn't seem to be any recommendations past messaging the board. As someone with a very limited social media presence, and who does not know any Proton employees myself, I do not know how else I can help.

Additionally, would it be helpful to point towards the demands on https://molecule.build/ in correspondance to the board, or is that attention you do not wish for yet?

Solidarity forever.

From what I have heard, the best help for them would be for their CEO to get the boot ASAP.

Perhaps work-to-rule is the best action: he wants them to "move faster" since committing "AI" code without full audits and pentesting is "loser thinking"? OK, code up that AI slop faster than ever before, and merge it without any review! Then let ProtonMail/Drive/VPN fall over and he can go explain to the press why.

the best help for US would be to unionize

They are a European company

He is saying "us", not "U.S." As in, he is identifying as a Proton employee.

easy mistake though, especially since proton have always acted so very usa

it says our in the text up top

Yes, I'm aware of what you meant.

If you capitalise US though, people are going to think you are talking about the usa

Apologies, misread the reply.

Proton is a Swiss company, not a US company

It was confusing since it is capitalized in your sentence

Godspeed if you find Reddit useful. I remember when the Reddit Privacy moderators were so captured that they were willing to censor content on behalf of Proton.

real talk, unionizing is a great first step, but you can't negotiate with terrorists. Andy and his lackeys need to be kicked to the curb, he is fundamentally incompatible with Proton's mission.

Ffs i just converted to proton. Guess i'll try Tuta then

it is very disheartening to see that a rallying cry from employees is downvoted here. we have to take it from both our ceo and supposedly solidaristic spaces, it is exhausting

On my end, all your comments (on this post at least) are all positive. I personally don't have a way to see if you've been downvoted. Is this referring to something else?
