The Beatles. They’re fine. Just fine.
Temperature. People all "it's too hot, I'm cold" just shut up and go outside already. You can swim, start a fire, get naked, nestle in some brush, there's nothing to get worked up about. You're a self-regulating biological process that can both sweat and turn cheese you ate a week ago into heat. Those are turtle problems.
So many answers for strong opinions on "do what you like".
A not-strong opinion is something like: ground pepper or cracked pepper? I recognize a difference, and I'd opt for cracked, but I really don't have an opinion.
Music fidelity, as long as I can hear it, idgaf about the quality of the speakers.
I really, truly, deeply envy you and wish I could say the same.
Sales and discounts and haggling. People go nuts whenever something is cheap or queue up for free give aways and such.
I only buy stuff when I need it and I will gladly pay full price for something. Things get too cheap you know. I don't take free stuff, because it's just more garbage or takes up space.
This is not a strong opinion. Of course I like to pay less or get free stuff, but only if I need those things. That's what frugal means to me. I get that some people think of it in a different way of optimizing or gathering garbage for craiglist or whatever. It's just not for me.
Literally any topic on which I have little to no knowledge. I can't have an opinion on a topic I barely know exists.
Usually about 25 of the 30 questions in the voting adviser. I don't care if some party wants to take budget from primary schools and stick it in kindergartens instead or if we fund the F35 or whatever. I'm not a military plane expert nor work in educational finance but these are literally the questions they select to use as basis for your vote. Dudes, ask an expert! They'll probably tell you "don't know, but we can do a scale study to see which way works better"
Whatever topic I know has a reasonable expectation of making more people sustainably happy is what I click, and then usually it tells me I haven't clicked enough answers for it to produce voting advice...
Most 'current hot topics' are either unknowable with current information, or just wholly irrelevant to bigger problems like when we're going to reach net zero greenhouse gas emissions and stop discriminating people
People putting pineapple on their pizza.
Whatever man. Some people like opera music. Some people like golden showers. And some people like putting pineapple on their pizza. Can't we all just get along?
Other people's lives. I don't get why how other people live bother people. If they like the same sex, go for it. If they like to dress up as a goat on the weekend? Ok, cool. It's your life, do what you want with it.
I mean, yes, but I'd add the qualifier "so long as it doesn't impact others". If you want to dump your trash in a communal area, it's imo a bit too easy to say that it's a free country and who am I to tell you not to do that. Maybe this sounds too obvious to spell out (to me it would have until recently) but I recently met two persons in unrelated places who really felt that nobody should tell them what to do because they didn't tell anyone else what to do either. As if we don't all share resources on this planet
People's taste in food. Like pinapple on 0zza? Cool, like ketchup on porkchops? Ok. Don't like spicey foods? All good.
Same for me. Once I attended a chocolate workshop with this guy who was like a chocolate expert/connoisseur, and he started by saying "The best chocolate is the one you like."
Which way to install a roll of TP. My natural preference is other than that of my family, so I shrug and do it their way. No big deal.
Sports? I think it's a tribalistic waste of time and money, but people are allowed to like what they like.
That kinda sounds like an opinion
But not a strong opinion.
waste of time and money
strong enough
Is it? Lot of stuff is a waste of time and money if you don't care for it. It doesn't mean you have a strong opinion about it. Like it could just mean you'd never spend your own time and money on it, but other people can if they want to. Since every recreational thing is a waste of time and money to someone who doesn't like it.
We're getting into a semantic and subjective argument here but I would say 'I don't like sports' or 'I don't care for it' is a basic/mild (negative) opinion.
IMO 'a waste of time and money' has some conviction to it.
Imagine someone saying that about something you personally care for?
i mean i do plenty of things that are wastes of time and moeny. What's wrong with that? We're hairless apes who like to do silly stuff.
yes
Celebrity gossip. I find it really difficult to care about what some celebrity said about something.
wait this seems like a strong opinion that celebrity gossip isn't interesting. wouldn't the neutral position here be that you would like to know what's going on with your fave celebs but don't go out of your way?
It's making me kinda sad you can't imagine someone just... Not having "fave celebs"
I've never gotten this either. Having an artist who's work you enjoy and follow because they have a history of making something you like? Sure, but beyond that why care?
It's not like an actor magically has a good talk on anything or is an expert on anything. They're just famous.
i genuinely dont care about gender at all. I'll fight tooth and nail for my trans brothers and sisters but in a perfect world I'd never think about it even a little
I'm the same. I have to be careful how I phrase things because it can sound transphobic if like someone asks you what you are and you just say "Well I have x genitals so just go with that I guess?" because you just don't care. Like call me whatever you want. want me to wear a certain type of clothing because of some social convention? Sure idc. I'll wear a dress, or a suit. Don't care. I just don't want to pay for them. I 100% support anyone doing anything they want with their gender. Let me know what you want to be called, and remind me if I slip up because I don't even remember peoples names most of the time, but I'll say what you want me to say. But for me personally? You can call me anything you want. He, Her, They, It, Dumbass, Tankie, .ml, shut the fuck up, etc It don't bother me one bit.
This is exactly where I am as well. “I just don’t want to pay for them” is so real lol.
fr like when it comes to clothes I see anything above like 20 USD per outfit as absolute highway robbery.
Pineapple on pizza.
I think people should just eat what they enjoy.
Electric unicycles
Favorite color, book, movie, etc.
I arbitrarily decided green is my favorite color just so I could answer icebreakers without looking like a personality-less weirdo. But really, I don't care and don't really understand having a "favorite".
Books, movies, other medias, I understand a bit more but still don't have any of my own. I rarely re-read or re-watch anything. And the things I do re-watch (mostly Halloween or Christmas season stuff) aren't my favorite overall, just for the applicable season. I can't recall the last book I re-read.
Do you customize your OS of choice in any way? If so, do you find some color palettes are even slightly more enjoyable than others? If so, dial that slight enjoyment up a few factors and that’s what having a favorite color is like.
I like to say my favorite color is UV, because I quite enjoy playing with UV LED keychain lights and such.
Sportsball
What goes on a hotdog. I've had people yell (literally voices raised vein popping yell) at me for adding anything other than mustard. I can't imagine caring that much about what other people put on their hotdog. I'm gonna add relish, sauerkraut, and ketchup thanks, you add just your mustard. Whatever.
The weather - I hardly ever check the forecast, I just take it as it comes. LGTBQ people/toilets/discussions - just the mention makes me fall asleep, they should just do what they want.
