Just a few minutes until Rocket Lab's first launch of 2024!

An Electron + Curie rocket will be launching out of Launch Complex 1B, Māhia Peninsula. The payload is four satellites to monitor near-Earth objects.

Launch window opens at 2024-01-31 06:34 UTC, 2024-01-31 19:34 NZDT.

Launch webcast

Launch thread with more info has been posted over at !spaceflight@sh.itjust.works:

RocketLab "Four Of A Kind" Launch Thread!

I hope this is appropriate to post here. Please let me know if otherwise.

Would any spaceflight/rocket enthusiasts be interested in setting up a Rocket Lab community?

Totally fine, since it's happening here in NZ. We aren't too strict on what kinds of things are allowed.

I missed watching the launch live, didn't see this post until I was too late, but I rewound and it looks like the launch went off smoothly and they have also successfully recovered the booster (though they ended the live stream before they got it to the boat). Very cool!
