I've been using UVLens. I've just dowloaded GlobalUV and it's interesting, seems to have more data but it's a bit harder to understand what's happening I think. I might use GlobalUV for a while this summer and see if I like it.

Other app I've had in the interim was Sunsmart, which is alos a global UV app, got it for Australia when i was there last year
Nice, I've installed that one too. Lot's of choice, now I just need to wait for some UV.
I pull the NIWA UV data/graphs into a website for local UV details (by permission from NIWA). All working as it has been, so perhaps the issue was with the app. No help, but sounds like you found a solution.
