For Slice & Dice would you recommend the iOS or Steam Deck version? Going to pick this up, it looks great
Steam Deck
A place to discuss and support all things Steam Deck.
Replacement for r/steamdeck_linux.
As Lemmy doesn't have flairs yet, you can use these prefixes to indicate what type of post you have made, eg:
[Flair] My post title
The following is a list of suggested flairs:
[Discussion] - General discussion.
[Help] - A request for help or support.
[News] - News about the deck.
[PSA] - Sharing important information.
[Game] - News / info about a game on the deck.
[Update] - An update to a previous post.
[Meta] - Discussion about this community.
Some more Steam Deck specific flairs:
[Boot Screen] - Custom boot screens/videos.
[Selling] - If you are selling your deck.
These are not enforced, but they are encouraged.
Rules:
- Follow the rules of Sopuli
- Posts must be related to the Steam Deck in an obvious way.
- No piracy, there are other communities for that.
- Discussion of emulators are allowed, but no discussion on how to illegally acquire ROMs.
- This is a place of civil discussion, no trolling.
- Have fun.
They're exactly the same, I personally would recommend the phone game because it works well there and will be better than most other phone games.
Sounds good, thanks! Have a flight this afternoon and I’ll check it out on the way home!
Okay ended up playing that basically the whole flight and it’s got those hooks in me haha
Glad you enjoyed it, it's had its hooks in me for years now.
Part of the enjoyment for me is that it's possible to get really broken combinations of dice and items. Many early items especially can do crazy things when combined with later items or characters.
For example, on an earlier run today I beat the final boss by generating 912 mana (which left me with over 800 mana after killing him and all his minions). But even when you luck out and get a super broken setup, there's still that element of risk that a series of unlucky rolls can doom you if you're not careful.
Really unfortunate that Halo Infinite is getting kernel level anti-cheat.
It works on Linux, so it's not kernel level (at least on Linux).
