So this little community started from a joke comment on a post about how communities here are often Lemmy versions of communities on other platforms. That's totally ok, but we thought some originality might be nice and ran with that random joke comment.

Now that the community is growing, and I have a better idea of what the community can be, it's time to promote it 🥳🧦

When Reddit was first becoming popular, were it's communities and content basically just clones of other websites like Digg?

Someone mentioned how Reddit used to sockpuppet to fake engagement, and Lemmy DOES need some new and original communities, so here

For example:

• You can use generative AI

• You can pose an old sock in a weird way
