I'm not sure I understand why they want to replace Calibri, but I guess a fresh typeface every now & then isn't a bad thing.

What do you all think of this Aptos?

It’s the first change to the Office default font in more than 15 years.

While Aptos will replace Calibri as the default, Calibri will still be pre-pinned at the top of a new font menu (only available on web initially) alongside its predecessors, Times New Roman and Arial.
