I get it, sadly I've hit like 100 hours in Cyberpunk and got blah about it. Restarted Elden Ring and blah 30 hours in. I can count the number of games I've actually beaten since PS2 on one hand. Just saying to keep it in mind since it's an amazing way to play some games you already love when you're feeling burned out and nothing sounds fun.

Even though the headset collects dust now, I'd be willing to pay for way more than what I paid to have those 6 months back for the first time again.

I loved Fallout 4 too (started with the first Fallout, played them all), and being able to play Fallout 4, Skyrim, and Cyberpunk in VR is indescribably awesome. Fallout 4 becomes like a horror game. Imagine all the times you're under ground or in some dark tunnels/buildings without working power, including waking up right after the prologue. It's pitch black with a head mounted flashlight you can enable by reaching up to the top of your head. Walking through that is so insanely different from playing the game normally, it was an absolute blast. And while you can mod in full VR motion controls, by default the game has you using the thumbsticks like normal.

Using the Jetpack armor to fly into the air, sneaking around groups, even pulling out a gun and ending Mama Murphy's bullshit (motion controls on that one for sure) is so much more amazing from a view of actually being inside the game. I probably spent 300 hours in that. Way worth the price of a Quest 3.

My PC only has a 4060, so Cyberpunk runs like trash trying to push a VR resolution, but FO4 played perfectly.

Oh? What is the "unnatural" force exerting influence over human behavior and belief? You can't try to argue that human thought, human ideology, and human beliefs aren't natural to humanity.

What we're seeing is entirely natural human behavior.

God no. They wouldn't do that, that's awful. They'll molest human children, so they can secure a large body of supporters.

Absolutely, starting out by saying you were somehow kind of interested while being bored and completely not giving a shit is the best way to get me talkative.

Idk. I'm in my 40s. Growing up I always imagined VR video games. Actually running around stabbing goblins and innocent passerby and looting them. The VR that exists right now is already better than anything I'd have hoped for. Except the part where people who play loads of video games and people who think it's fun to physically run in place and swing your arms about endlessly for hours at a time aren't really groups that tend to intersect very much.

It looks amazing, it's immersive as all hell, but it's also tedious as all hell. The few things I bother with any more are all games that I play with a controller, wearing the headset for added immersion. I can still turn my head and have my view change like I'm actually a part of the world, but then just sit on my ass and press buttons on the controllers for everything else.

Cyberpunk 2077, Hogwarts Legacy, and loads of other gorgeous games with worlds that are flat out amazing to see from a VR point of view can be modded to work with it if your system is beefy enough. But for me it was like it was amazing to get to experience and explore those worlds from a genuine first person point of view, but not the most fun way to just plain play video games. Very glad I spent some time fucking around with it, but after 6 months or so the headset just got perched on my PC tower.

The rare times it gets use these days are mainly for porn maybe once every few months. Which is another thing everyone should experience. Maybe. Seems like one of those things some internet creeps take to like it's heroin. It's crazy af and the best thing to happen to porn since shaving, yes, but porn, like heroin, isn't one of those things I'd like to dedicate the bulk of my life to.

If so, you'll have to wait until tomorrow since my blood amphetamine level seems to be bottoming out for today. :/

That's crazy. Fortunately the world is full of countries like China, the US, Germany, Russia... you know, big places where everything has run on compassion for others and doing the right thing for the last hundred plus years.

Could I just tell them I'm Artificially Intelligent? I'm awful at being human, but great at seeming intelligent and hard working for 30 seconds at a time with several hours between each instance.

Honestly not a big fan of it myself since it's such a pain in the ass to see well. But I bought one of those VR headsets and then realized that swinging my arms constantly to stab people in Skyrim was way less fun in practice than I'd imagined it would be so I picked up a few movies.

Pretty much all the 3D things were disappointing even in a high res VR headset, but that RPO encode was shiny as fuck.

They hiring? I'm perfectly willing to come in to an office and act like I'm doing stuff in exchange for money.

If you haven't, you should check out the Dirtyhippie encode of Ready Player One. 4k 90fps sbs. It's by far the most beautiful 3D experience I've had.

I'm imagining they're all just down voting because they're sad I beat them to it.

As a transgender, black , height-disadvantaged man I fully agree with with his argument and find that it has changed my life as well.

Flight instructor: "Do your best, lol."

I'm like 8 hours in and all I've been doing is climbing things, skirting little ledges around buildings to see if I can get higher, and constantly using ping/distract on things on the ground.

I don't know why. I've only found 2 places where I could break a window with a bat and sneak into a building, most floors and buildings seem only for show with no real interior. But... since I know breakable windows and secret entrances and shit exists I can't stop looking for it.

I'm only level 7, but climbing high and lighting everyone on fire with technomagic is my kind of great combat. I was really surprised to find out that actually lighting people on fire until they run out of health somehow doesn't count as killing them and they just go "downed"... so I can get the bonus from some quests for not killing, then go back with a katana and dice them up. <3
