My boys loved listening to us read The Hobbit when they were 4 or 5.

Charlie and the Great Glass Elevator is a good but weird read. Not so much a sequel as much as it is a slightly related acid trip 😂
Not an album I know well. For some reason I always gravitate to Love Over Gold and Making Movies - I know those albums like the back of my hand. Masterpieces, both of them. I must give this another listen
Absolutely brilliant. I'm only a casual fan really but DG is just an absolute legend on stage - giving 100%, 100% of the time. Totally engaged with the crowd and just generally having fun. Considering he's been doing this for almost 30 years, it's frankly astounding that he's not just going through the motions. A consummate professional and brilliant entertainer.
Superb. Top 3 for concerts I've been to - and I've been lucky enough to go to a LOT when I lived in Melbourne. Foos really are a class act when it comes to live shows.
Brother's partner dropped us in the general area and we walked - traffic was insane, so super glad we didn't go down the parking route!!
I've been mostly off work for a week with back injury. Not fun at all, and I've not tolerated the drugs at all well either. Finally feeling like I'm back to something close to normal today though, so back to work tomorrow.
Have been setting up my first new phone in about 4 years. Only reason I changed is because the screen on the S10+ was completely past it. Have gone to a Pixel 7a. It's a phone I guess 😂
Go to a broker - get them to shop around for you. And take a higher excess too; that's makes a big difference.
But yeah, insurance has gone up dramatically in the last 18 months or so. Our corporate bill (building, 4x vehicles and 10mil public liability) went from 9K to 15k at last renewal.
That's them. Nasty sting indeed - my niece got hit the other day swimming at our local beach here on the West Coast (S.I.)
That book freaked me out as a kid
Similar timing in my house by the sounds of things! Merry Christmas one and all
Amen to that! Well done Dave, it's appreciated.
