You know they aren't going to do shit. They are just going to wait until one of the ships stops working and then give one of their funders a huge contract to provide the replacement until it gets fixed which will of course never happen.

I know your reflex is to spew hatred towards labour and blame them for everything but the problem is really with you and people like you.

The public is the blame for their opinions and actions. The fact is that the public actually supports and enjoys everything National is doing. They want to hurt the poor, they want to hurt the Maori, they want to hurt immigrants, they want privatised healthcare and education system.

The country is going to shit because the decent people have left the country. What remains are the dregs.

Please participate. Don't let the country be handed over to the oligarchs.

Everything is going as planned with this government "starve the beast" strategy. They want to destroy the healthcare system so that people will accept privatisation as a possible cure.

The nation as usual is utterly ignorant of what's going on.

Disgusting habit. Stop pushing this nonsense on us.

Just to follow up with you.

So far the counterfeit pants have been holding up great. My genuine addidas pants have all suffered from pilling but this one hasn't yet. Let's see what happens in another month.

Google "starve the beast" strategy.

Isn't you and I driving also important to the country's economic activity? I drive to work, I drive to the stores. I drive to the gym and recreational activities. That's all economic activity.

I'll check aliexpress but generally speaking I like to try on clothes before I buy them.

As I said I was surprised that the counterfeit was actually better than the original in many ways. It kind of sucks that we don't have access to these goods readily in NZ. Why should I go buy a blank ugly pair of sweatpants from Kmart when I can buy a much. better looking one of same or similar quality one from another vendor?

I do actually like the branding which is why I bought the counterfeit pants. I think they look nicer than the run of the mill sweatpants.

Oddly enough adidas changed the styling on their pants this year and I like the new designs less than the old ones so this makes the counterfeit ones even more desirable.

I was traveling overseas and I bought a pair of counterfeit adidas pants for 10 bucks or so. I have been wearing this for a while now and in my opinion it's superior the adidas pants I normally buy at rebel sports for 100 bucks or so. The pockets are deeper and the logo is sewn in rather than one of those plasticy stick on things. Also the fabric hasn't pilled yet which happens to my genuine adidas pants rather quickly.

The thing is they look just like the real branded goods, down the the labels inside. You really can't tell them apart except maybe the fabric is a little thinner (which I actually like).

Are there places in NZ where I can buy counterfeit goods? I never realised they would be better than the real things.

Wasn't it proven corruption when John Key appointed one of his buddies to a high paying position and made a backroom deal with Sky and Warner and then got a job with a Chinese bank?

[–] BalpeenHammer 6 points 4 months ago (3 children)

Seems weird to kick out a politician for being corrupt. That would mean at least two thirds should be gone. Certainly everybody in NACT for sure.

Thanks. That's scary though.

Thank god we elected a government that takes climate change seriously.

Pull up the ladder after you.

I am saying this unironically.

WAKE UP SHEEPLE!

Your tax dollars are going to John Key folks. This is how the privatisation of state housing is going.

Sir John Key and other directors of Palo Alto Networks are named in a lawsuit alleging they made false and misleading statements about the company’s products.

Key sold shares in the company last December for more than US$700,000

Key said the ‘copycat’ lawsuits were based on unproven allegations and had no merit.

Green co-leader Chlöe Swarbrick has used her first “State of the Planet” speech to accuse the coalition Government of privileging lobbyists and the wealthy, at the expense of workers’ health and the environment.

Surely all these people losing decent paying jobs will have no impact on the economy right? Definitely not a recession right?
