Banned? Because OP made 11 posts out of one? Good.
Edit: I was wrong. There was way more. Entire Lemmy pages more.

Back in the smoking days, they'd say blowing smoke in someone's face is code for you wanna do it right now. We used to talk about it at parties. None of us understood who it was code for. Probably swingers before us punkers in the 80s. Anytime you did it on accident, people would crack jokes like hey now you gotta go screw your buddy Steve or your sister or whatever. Kind of like accidentally giving someone a green m+m.
No, he was one of the best. She's what cued me. The other guy is dead on, too. Just reminded me this was kind of a thing in the 80s.
Back when AI was just celebrity imposters, the way Jesus meant it to be.
They were easy to break as well. It was a good evolution.
Ah, yeah, even my old little 2003 Volvo has a more Bug influenced little guy in the back.
Fuck your AI slop "art" thumbnail.
When we were in Tokyo and SE Asia, we lost weight. The food is lighter, healthier, smaller proportions. The rice is not handed out like some sort of endless buffet. You get a cup of rice or whatever the measurement. That's it. No additional servings of rice. Andrew Weil did a whole description of how cultures who's staple foods (rice, corn, grains, taro...) have become more finely processed become more obese, across the board, as a culture. When it becomes fine powdery flour, it breaks down into sugar way faster. You're not supposed to eat that shit for good reasons. Lifestyle plays a big part but cutting out all that junk food is critical.
Do cars even have antennas anymore? Highway patrol got post-it versions in the meantime anyhow.
(I was kind of curious if people were familiar with these things)
It says TAB right on there. TAB was an early "diet cola" from Coke. TIL. Now I get why its heyday was in the 70s.
I think it's a Lemmy-wide issue and no one's ever fixed it. Not even piefed. Even on piefed, you can't get video to play unless you click on the link and go to the post. It'll play there, but it won't play from the main page. Pretty sure the rest of Lemmy is worse.
We used to play stuntman on our big wheels. We had a hill with grass on it. We'd watch Evil Kneival specials, The 6 Million Dollar Man, and then we'd go launch ourselves off our big wheels into the bushes, inadvertantly finding rocks with our kneecaps and the like. I still have the scars to prove it.
These Green Machines were for the fancy kids. I still don't understand them. you're using the sticks to turn? What? Why did they make it more complicated than a tractor? There's no brake. You have your pedals. That's it. Big Wheels had a big ol brake you could slam onto one rear tire, force a drifting effect or even spin completely 180 degrees around. I'm surely distorting the facts with my version of memories here.
