I agree with this so much - the end of act 2 was such a narrative high I was excited to see how they topped it!

And then they didn't. And then I stopped levelling. It wasn't the climax to the story I was expecting.

I always struggled to describe what was so disappointing but you hit the nail on the head. Starting act 3 felt like I was sent in time back to act 1 - aimlessly wandering around the map until finally stumbling across the next main story point.

As a casual player I've never found an MMO that interests me, so catering to a hardcore audience isn't a bad idea.

They've always felt like "single player games but you need help to defeat a bullet sponge every so often". I'm sure being a part of a guild makes these segments great but when you're a new player on your own they feel unapproachable.

I'd love to play a multiplayer game where players contribute to a developing story rather than repeat the same one everyone else has done. Obviously that's a ton of work so I'm not surprised it doesn't exist.

There are dozens of us! Dozens!!

I really hope Bigscreen manage to bring the cost down of their small headset because an affordable and comfy one might renew interest. It's still very much an underexplored medium!

Oh god I remember watching the 2019 anime but getting really confused a few episodes in because things just seemed off and like I was missing something. When I searched for it the next day on the site I was using showed the 1998 OVA "series", and I thought it might provide the context I was missing. And oh boy it certainly did, just not in the way I expected...

Never knew it had such a big role in Visual Novel history. That's cool to learn!

Nope. The models have stayed the same from X&Y to Sword and Shield. Only in Scarlet and Violet have they been given an upgrade.

Everything about this project is amazing, but the documentation is something else. It is written so perfectly concise and yet easy to understand, gives example code just when you'd need it (and 90% of pages have C# variants and includes notes on how it may differ!) and so you just walk away knowing exactly what to do, or with a link to another useful, beautifully written page with what you actually were looking for instead.

I used to think Unity had good documentation, but now that I've seen this it's just on a whole new level. It also genuinely makes me weep when I go back to work in a proprietary engine with such scarce notes that it's easier to look for other places it's used and spend a day writing your own for the poor souls who come after...

TL;DR Whoever writes the docs, I love you

Sometimes I feel like me and the people I play with are the only ones who like this game. I'm just glad that the team is committed to improving it rather than writing it off as a flop immediately.

I used to really love this game. It has so much potential to be more than a battle royale, but it took like 4 years to get a permanent non BR gamemode. Battle passes only work if your players don't get burnt out... And don't get me started on collection events 2: electric boogaloo, this time with more gambling!

Honestly this. I'd love to maintain my own database of music, but streaming services did something right to make it so accessible.

Prices will need to hit a breaking point to scare people away, and even then they will keep using the next easiest thing (e.g. YT Music + ad block in my case).

I only learned about Everything recently, and damn I was impressed. I can't believe I've been putting up with Windows' default search for so long.

Absolutely this. 99% of people I know never want to touch a terminal, and I don't blame them. They've been shown that what they want to do can be simple, why would they settle for less? Something really big needs to happen for them to change browser, let alone a whole OS.

You can't just say that and not give a link! I use quite a few of the hotkeys, but those ones in particular cause me grief. If you have an extension that lets you pick and chose, I beg you to save us from that pain.
