I use a similar set up. Librewolf on Linux and IronFox on Android. You could still use a Firefox account to sync, but I wouldn’t. I’ve heard there’s a way to host an older version of Firefox sync locally, but I haven’t looked into it.

 

Title says it all. Any recommendations for a self-hosted service to store and organize academic papers? Ideally with the capacity to manage citations as well?

UPDATE: I’m going to use jabref for now while I try to get dspace set up. I’ll keep the thread updated for anyone interested in this in the future. Thanks y’all!

For the VPN, check out gluetun. Route your torrenting client container through this to funnel all the traffic through a VPN of your choice. I use this for my server.

Love breadonpenguins, she def inspired me too, I’m talking about DWL tho, like the Wayland fork of DWM. I had some issues w the dependencies they had listed.

Sway right now, setup was super straightforward. I just wish it had some dynamic tiling functionality. Plus I really like the suckless mentality of starting with basic functionality and patching in features as needed.
