That frog is associated with 4chan more than any of the sites pictured.

If you use a browser, you know that the formatting works as intended, and you don't have anything thing installed on your phone.

If you use an app, you may have a layout you prefer, and you may have a new feature or two that you like.

It's tiny, about 2% too small.

The comment I originally replied to wasn't word play.

that’s realistically where they ACTUALLY are. If the grandchild is already inside the daughters overies, that means she’s already pregnant.

I think what's going on here, and what often does, is that people don't read a reply as a reply to a specific comment chain. They instead see it as a reply to the post itself or a stand alone comment.

Which is what I said in my post that uid0grid0 responded to, saying that I needed anatomy lessons.

Sperm is not a child.
An egg is not a child.
A fertilized egg is also not a child, but some people think it is.

I'm not saying that eggs are not inside the ovaries, I'm saying that eggs are not children.

I mean, the kids are neither in a ballsack nor the ovaries.

If you consider a fertilized egg a child, which you shouldn't, they would be in the uterus.

If it's inside an ovary, the mother's going to die.

Maybe Tomorrow by Abby Simons:

This is from an old Youtube channel, Abby would write, record, edit, and post a new song every week for a year... almost.
When the song pops into my head from time to time, I miss the way that youtube felt.

And things that people are allergic to, like wasps and bees

The NDP is very-much a pro- worker party. When the liberals forced the workers into arbitration instead of allowing them to strike, they cut at one of the core issues for the NDP. The liberals committed their act against the railworkers in public, so the response being in public makes sense.

It would be the same as an environmental party publicly cutting ties with a "pro business" party for allowing the creation of new farm land by reducing the size of a national park.

Yeah, it was such a shitty take.

Both bands have umlauts in their names, solely for stylistic reasons

"Penny Lane is in my ears and in my eyes"

I mean, this is the same Trinity Western that wasn't allowed to open up a law school because they are garbage, right?

https://www.cbc.ca/news/politics/trinity-western-supreme-court-decision-1.4707240

They only started to consider dropping their homophobic ways after their law school bid was rejected.

It requires members to abstain from using vulgar language, lying or cheating, stealing, using degrading materials such as pornography, and "sexual intimacy that violates the sacredness of marriage between a man and a woman."

While that rule effectively bars anyone who is unmarried from having sexual relations, it's the reference to "man and a woman" that is considered discriminatory against LGBT people. Same-sex marriage became legal in Canada in 2005.

And Janet, get real. Not being allowed to open a law school because you discriminate against others, doesn't count as a loss in diversity.

Janet Epp Buckingham, a TWU professor who helped develop the law school proposal, said she was saddened by the ruling.

"We feel that this is a loss for diversity in Canada"

Edit: It looks they stopped making students promise to be straight in 2018, but they didn't drop it for the staff.

The previous song was Imagine dragons, a band that is generally considered unwanted.

(In) your (bed) room

So, I haven't dabbled in the Word of Darkness ("WoD") or the Vampire games since I was an early teen. I only played like 2 sessions, so I am not worried about rules for other editions coming into my head. That being said, what rules am I going to get wrong when running a game of the newest edition of Vampire the Masquerade ("V5")?

Any decent house-rules out there? Any advice?

If you look at the communities tab and sort by new, more communities there have 0 posts than have more than 10 posts. It seems like people are just making communities for the sake of having something to control, without any interest of actually contributing. Often times the communities are opposing, so it's not as if the mod actually has knowledge or an interest in all 6 sides.

Is there any discussion behind the scenes on a way to curb this. or is this not a concern at this time because lemmy is still small?

The country will imprison or publicly flog 60 other suspected homosexuals.

Specifically, Rule 2: No Illegal Content

Which country?

The rainbow in the banner isn't legal in some of the more backwards counties, so which country's laws are we going by?

I think Lemmy.world is based out of the Netherlands, so, are we using Dutch laws?

Edit: The rules were updated, and the old Rule 2 is gone.
