Great list of apps. The only few things I could recommend on top of yours are:

  • tasks.org for tasks (and it can easily replace your calendar). It's foss, and has good syncing / backups.
  • You could move off aegis and put all your 2fa in keepassdx. It supports 2fa already, and has smart form filling for it too.
  • Readera for ebook reading. Not FOSS, but its light and works really well.

I do this also, it works really well. I used to use ultrasonic, but that seems to be abandoned.

lol. I'd take a browser that's 10x slower as long as it has no AI or crypto.

Losurdo has a few good chapters specifically about a lot of the modern german ideological support for zionism in his book War and Revolution.

It's a really complicated subject, dealing with the historical guilt from the judeocide, and supporting Israel being an easy and surface-level way to alleviate that guilt.

Over 10 of the downvotes so far are from zero-content accounts.

It'lll be interesting to see how pro-zionist or political party PACs devoted to social media influencing like (correct-the-record for the US democratic party) will affect the fediverse, and what we can do about it.

All of Marx's main concepts, surplus value, classes and class struggle, alienation, are just as relevant today as when they were written. Much like Newton, Marx built the solid foundation that scientific socialists stand on today.

I think so. It's top-tier adventure storytelling. The sequels are also great.

Correction, Dick Cheney was Bush's president.

As far as good storytelling, some of my favs are:

  • The count of monte cristo
  • The arabian nights
  • 100 years of solitude
  • The silmarillion
  • A confederacy of dunces
  • The three musketeers

I have a very long ranked list, but there's a few.

Extremely sad. Why couldn't people just ask for context in a polite way, instead of bringing over all those aggressive twitterisms, and assuming the poster was "doing it for the engagement".

A xiaomi pad 5 pro, with an external keyboard. I switched to coding remotely a few years ago, so its nice to have a portable device with like 12 hours of battery life.

I figured out the f-droid version wasn't using a minified / optimized version of jerboa. It should be must faster now.

Welcome to Lemmy, I'm one of the devs and admins for this instance.

Being pro-piracy, and allowing torrent magnet links 🏴‍☠️ , is one of the original reasons I started working on lemmy ( even a lot of the better reddit alts refuse to allow magnet links, or be pirate-friendly).

One of the best ways to keep the stream alive, is by decentralizing the ways we find and access content. Torrents do this directly for data, but I hope that lemmy, as a federated reddit alternative, can eventually serve as a platform to aggregate, post, and comment on pirated data in a decentralized way.

More info about Lemmy including docs, how federation works, and a good onboarding site.

Welcome aboard!

Sry for not announcing sooner.
