Hopefully they can get it stabilized to try and complete the mission. The space telescope they are going for will re-enter the atmosphere either way so it’s worth a shot. This is a cool mission, especially since this will probably be the last air-launched orbital space mission we will see for a long time, maybe ever.

Would it have made more sense for them to claim it was a secret mixture of stuff that destroys concrete? If the engineers were obligated to check the structure because they didn’t know what was sprayed on it, that would have delayed construction, even if the liquid was pretty benign.
This is why it is important to vote in local elections including your town’s school board. Seriously, someone actually thought this was a good idea, hopefully this comes around to bite them in the next election.
The US did this with goatheads (plant with horribly spiky seeds) they introduced a weevil from India that eats them.

Although they are both stories based on historical events that have been embellished, the Trojan war and the Hebrews leaving Egypt very well could have been happening at the same time (around 1180 BCE)

Parable of the sower does have some pretty graphic violence in it though from what I remember, if 1984 is considered not age appropriate I think that one would not be either.
