Boardgames I would love to have but nobody I know has any interest in them and has last played one in childhood.
But the DVD/CD thing is really neat. Thrifting in stores or online in general has become a lot of fun and I've gotten family into it as well, especially with CDs and vinyls. Also saves a lot of money and it helps with prioritizing what you are really interested in. I still have the occasional streaming service but looking at which movies/series/music we own physically, I may be more selective if only physical products are available. Not having to worry about content suddenly disappearing due to licensing rights is MUCH better anyway.

I'm not very knowledgable about technology but ever since all of this + the push of ID verification online around the globe I've started to grow a small analog collection of games/books/DVDs. It's the easiest way to prepare oneself for worst case scenarios even if one doesn't know every detail.
They are also trying to take away these free resources by pushing laws to make ID identification mandatory to make money off of us.
A love story for the ages but unironically.
The environment we have created is so fast-paced and complex that our brains are often in a constant state of overwhelm. We were never meant to be always available, always aware of everything and always caught in the belief that we have to react to everything at a time.
