The entire premise of the green-text is that it's an autistic work of fiction. Pointing that out is redundant.

You can always test a distro by putting it on a USB and booting into the live environment. This means you can check if everything works hardware wise without having to commit to installing Linux.

That looks extremely cozy

Search up the sources they provide and research the event and the events surrounding it. They provide some of the most ahistorical "evidence" I've ever seen on lemmy.

The fact they use liberal as a negative should be enough for any reasonable person to write them off.

You could argue a state has a right to propagandize its own citizens to counter foreign adversarial influence. I'm not saying it does but a state should have its populations best interests in mind compared to a foreign adversary.

Youre gonna have to write fully cited and sourced academic papers to convince him to clean his room.

My younger sister searches tiktok for information and by that I mean she doesn't even use the search feature. The topics just show up in her feed. She thinks she's choosing/finding but is actually getting fed topics.

Its sad because everytime she tells me something she learned on tiktok I do like 2mins of research and find its not true or misleading. People lie about the most mundane things on that platform and I don't know why.

Can't you go to the modlog and search your name filtered by mods actions?

What's wrong with saying feminists think women are better than men?

Even if you think the statemnt is wrong it's hardly the out of line statement you make it out to be. To compare that to the comments on reddit is wild.

I was looking through Userbenchmarks at a few different GPU's and I noticed that every single review for all GPU's included a negative review about AMD GPU's falsifying data, paying people to shill and experienced gamers knowing that AMD is a bad choice. I looked a little further and saw that all these reviews came from one account and after digging more it seems that this is userbenchmarks account considering they've made videos expressing the same sentiment on their youtube channel.

Its insane to me how one of the highest trafficked hardware comparison websites is blatantly this biased and still has the balls to accuse AMD of paid sponsorship. What are some better hardware comparison sites to use?

I cant seem to get rid of the high rent tags on my residential and industrial sectors. For residential Ive tried adding low cost housing but i dont know what to try with industrial.

I am trying to install this package on Nobara 38 but it only seems to be available on Deb and Ubuntu https://pkgs.org/download/libpcre3-dev

I've looked around and it seems I need to build the package from source but I cannot find the source or figure out how to build it. I downloaded libpcre3-dev_8.39-15_amd64.deb but im not sure what to do with the file.

I found the PCRE website but it doesn't have a libpcre3-dev https://www.pcre.org/

It might just be easier to do what I need to do in an ubuntu VM. Any advice on how to get this package installed would be appreciated.

I typically buy stir fry mixes and then throw them on a hot pan and try cook the water out but this leaves them dry and burnt.

Hello, I cant seem to find any upto date info on this topic and all the old threads seem to suggest that these features do not work well on linux.

I am looking to get a 144hz monitor that is at least 2k in resolution. I have an Nvidia graphics card and KDE Plasma. I want to run two monitors and the 2nd monitors is 60hz and 1080p. Would this cause issues? Is there anything I need to consider when looking for a monitor?

I am new to web development so I am not sure how much I should be "reinventing the wheel" vs using whats already out there.
