It doesn't matter, does it? This is Trump's America, and Americans walked into this with eyes wide open. Knew exactly what and who he is. We deserve everything that's coming, and I hope we get it all. If the voters don't suffer, they will never learn, it seems.

I guess you just live in a very different world than me. I would never let my parents dictate my life like that. They either accept me for who I am or they don't get to be part of my life. I would also never try to dictate life for my own kids like that when they are adult human beings.

I'm not sure why you let your parents be the deciding factor in whether you have kids or not? It's not up to them.

I think the point is that Americans assume that people speak English in countries where English is not the predominant language without first making even the slightest effort to adjust to the local language and customs. And it really comes across as assholery.
