Great, even pizza is enshittifying.

Possibly because he can see this one being used.

This is an extremely bad look for Parliament, and our current government. Don't ask too many questions, or we won't let you in.

I'm glad the decision was reversed.

Yeah, I wouldn't trust these guys as far as I can kick them, they've done some dodgy stuff in the past.

One example was picketing the Hobbit premier over alleged animal abuse, which was the first time they publicallly mentioned it.

You'd think they would go public while the abuse was happening, right?

One key reason to move is cost of living, it's a lot cheaper in many ways to live out in the sticks, especially with housing. Lifestyle can also be part of it.

I've been to Wanaka, and it's one of the few parts of that area of NZ that still felt "real". Queenstown, on the other hand, just felt so manufactured, I really don't like the place at all.

I can definitely see how a McDonald's would change the place for the worst.

Same here actually. I doubt she will go quietly.

Wellington City Council is a bit of a mess, but I don't think things are bad enough to warrant going back to the polls.

The council members themselves have definitely been in the news too much though.

Yup. Although the Green party did talk about tolling transmission gully a few years ago, and got shut down fast.

Given this road is being built as a replacement for the Manawatu gorge, which was a free route, I think this would be seen as a dick move by pretty much everyone. It says a lot about how much political nouse National have that this is even being discussed.

I think even Luxon has the political nouse to not campaign on something like this, usually the idea of a toll road is sold on the idea we get something built that otherwise wouldn't happen.

I hope they start punching up with their humour. I don't hold much hope though.

This guy sound like such an utter tosser.

Police don't even know whose money it is, or where it came from. I think they should be able to keep it.

I'm guessing the author doesn't know the difference between a BB gun and a pellet gun/air rifle, because I doubt a BB would reliably kill a pigeon.

I'm quite surprised a vessel like this isn't NZ flagged, given it's operating exclusively in NZ waters.

I'm sure it was just a poorly thought out choice of words, but the Tsunami remark is kinda hilarious.

Good on the postal union to tell them where to stick their pamphlet, I say.

Of course, David Seymour is upset about it.

Yup.

A major update about the meth lollies, something got lost in translation with the police I think, they seem way too relaxed about class A drugs being out there in the community.

Not long ago, I posted a story about someone's dog eating meth on a walk through Auckland, and now this?

Was this a smuggling operation gone wrong perhaps?

Honestly, the fact they even asked is pretty bad, voluntary or not.

God damn it, not again.

Wasn't expecting to read that headline today.
