Hi all! Not sure how active this community is, but I figured I'd try. So my husband and I moved from the US to Mexico in April, and I haven't had luck in getting a remote US-based job that pays at least $1500 USD a month. I have over a year of experience in IT and over a decade in customer service. I've been mostly applying to IT jobs since that's more my passion, but I enjoy customer service as well. I feel like a lot of my applications have just been sent into the void. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. :)

Thanks for sharing, and that's good to hear. My husband was saying stuff was being blown out of proportion on US news outlets, too.

My husband and I are moving to Mérida, Yucatán, México in April. We don't feel safe in Los Angeles anymore. And despite all the stuff going on in Mexico, Mérida is one of the safest cities in all the Americas.
