...do we all have the same blanket for real?

Fantastic doggo!

[–] chatokun@lemmy.dbzer0.com 4 points 3 months ago

I also have that tortilla blanket. No dog atm though.

[–] Pat_Riot@lemmy.today 27 points 3 months ago

I downvote and block the poster of every piece of slop I detect. Your dog got my upvote and deserves all the rest of them too.

Looks like my dog

Looks like my dog

[–] henfredemars@infosec.pub 14 points 3 months ago

I hate AI. I’ll take an amateur photo or drawing before something generated by a robot every time.

[–] cerebralhawks@lemmy.dbzer0.com 12 points 3 months ago

So instead we upvote the cute dog? You got me, I'll upvote a pupper every time, especially if it's what looks like a terrier mix. I had a dog with a face kinda like that, but greyer, leaning more toward Schnauzer. But, all dogs are the goodest boy (or girl) and this makes sense to dog people (though, I'm more of a cat person, though if I'm honest I'd take a red panda over either, but then again, who wouldn't?).

[–] TheSealStartedIt@feddit.org 12 points 3 months ago (2 children)

Is this a Burrito blanket? I got one too. Great taste, mister.

[–] beneeney@lemmy.zip 5 points 3 months ago

Yoo me too, I love my burrito blanket

[–] Fmstrat@lemmy.world 3 points 3 months ago

I was so confused until I read this.

[–] Pika@sh.itjust.works 12 points 3 months ago

"It's not great"

I don't know what you are talking about. That's about as dog as I've ever seen.

Cozy borkito

[–] Aeao@lemmy.world 11 points 3 months ago

Looks like my dog lol

[–] Cnote5@lemmy.world 10 points 3 months ago

Check. Mate.

[–] Eyekaytee@aussie.zone 10 points 3 months ago (3 children)

I see a lot of AI generated stuff getting upvoted

What alternative lemmy world are you living in? Lemmy is one of the most hostile to AI communities I know of

[–] otter@lemmy.ca 11 points 3 months ago* (last edited 3 months ago)

They almost always get removed or deleted eventually, but sometimes they'll get upvoted for a few hours until an eagle eyed user spots evidence and calls it out.

It's also not OPs fault most of the time. It's hard to spot them

[–] Iconoclast@feddit.uk 10 points 3 months ago

I see no GenAI content here whatsoever except for what's posted on communities specifically meant for it.

[–] zikzak025@lemmy.world 5 points 3 months ago (1 children)

In a general sense, absolutely, but there are still a good number of pro-AI communities around here that typically keep to their own bubbles. Anyone browsing by All will inevitably see them come up here and there.

I also see AI-gen content make it to the top of larger, more general communities like Lemmy Shitpost every now and then. Usually when it's harder to tell that it was generated by AI. When it gets called out, you'll typically see more upvotes than downvotes, but there will inevitably be some AI sympathist or two in the replies who won't hesitate to go off about how it's not a big deal/it's just a meme/there's nothing inherently wrong with AI/etc.

[–] thedirtyknapkin@lemmy.world 5 points 3 months ago

In theory, if we're growing beyond Linux nerds and harcore communists, this should be one of the biggest and most general communities as well as one of the most likely to see slop get upvoted.

ai kittens and puppies make up like 30% of Facebook traffic on their own at this point. if we're worried about ai slop taking over THIS is the community to watch.

[–] oopsgodisdeadmybad@lemmy.zip 8 points 3 months ago

Don't you dare call your dog "not great".

[–] PunnyName@lemmy.world 8 points 3 months ago

Incorrect.

It's great!

[–] BootyEnthusiast@lemmy.dbzer0.com 8 points 3 months ago

Adding to the pile

Ah I see

Lemmy comment fishing perfected

[–] Lexam@lemmy.world 7 points 3 months ago

OP claims to hate AI. OP posts what is clearly an AI picture of a Dog Burrito with a giant tortilla.

[–] Nima@leminal.space 7 points 3 months ago

what posts here are ai gen? i haven't seen any recently.

[–] FlashMobOfOne@lemmy.world 7 points 3 months ago

Lies.

This is great by definition.

[–] thirteene@lemmy.world 7 points 3 months ago

Another doppledogger

[–] yilian@sopuli.xyz 6 points 3 months ago

Doggie burrito!

[–] yakko@feddit.uk 6 points 3 months ago

That dog has good taste in blankets. I have the same one. Cool shit

[–] Rekorse@sh.itjust.works 5 points 3 months ago

Oh shit is that the burrito blanket?! We have one of those too its fantastic! Cat-burritoes and dog-burritoes!

Sometimes we make a mountain out of it and bury the cat in the top like she's ruling a volcano-shaped-burrito!

[–] CouldBeBetter@piefed.social 5 points 3 months ago

He certainly is great!

You're correct, it's not great. It's AWESOME!!!

[–] cenariodantesco@lemmy.world 5 points 3 months ago

the title isn't great, this is an excellent real dog picture, the goodest of boyz

[–] BrazenSigilos@ttrpg.network 4 points 3 months ago

This is great!

[–] Baggie@lemmy.zip 4 points 3 months ago

Not a dog but he sure acts like one

[–] Kolanaki@pawb.social 4 points 3 months ago (1 children)

If this is a real dog, why is it part burrito? 🤔

[–] Regrettable_incident@lemmy.world 2 points 3 months ago

Needs more salsa. Otherwise, yum.

[–] davetortoise@reddthat.com 3 points 3 months ago

Harsh. It's trying it's best

[–] poccalyps@sh.itjust.works 3 points 3 months ago

Morkie, yeah?

[–] Ironfacebuster@lemmy.world 3 points 3 months ago

My adopted Bouledogue Français says hello to everyone. She sleeps and rests like this too.

[–] Baggie@lemmy.zip 2 points 3 months ago
