Doesn't seem like a controller friendly game at first glance, but it's so well optimized that I cannot go back to PC with it.
I also get like 4 hours of battery life out of it, which I use up regularly.

A game I like, and I'm not sure this fits 100%, but Voices of the Void.
Keeping things as spoiler-lite as possible, you're a lone radioastronomer at a deep-space listening outpost in Switzerland. It's a horror game, so there are "things" out there, but whether or not you get involved is kind of up to you.
Thing do happen, but not to you. You are just a witness to events far beyond your comprehension.
Pixics seems to have a weekly subscription show up after a few puzzles. There doesn't seem to be a way to play more without subscribing.
And I was just about to resub after stopping in January to catch up on my game backlog.
Back to the backlog I go!
I finally played through Avowed a week or two ago and went in with low expectations. I had heard all around that it was a decent 7/10 game, but I was pleasantly surprised.
It's not New Vegas 2 or anything, I think most of the people who worked on FNV have long since left, but I still really appreciate Obsidian games for what they are.
I don't have a tablet, but I use ibisPaint on my phone.
Also, I have genuinely never in my 29 years of life heard people say anything like this.

This looks cool, but even on my desktop the text for the rules is way too small.
I don't think it's "abandoned," I think it's just "done." It's like a $5 indie game made by a solo dev, there isn't an unfinished road map or anything.
IIRC, it's a roguelike card game a la Balatro.
Also the CEO caved to bigots and canceled pride. I left and every time I look back the vibe has gotten worse.
