When I used to smoke 1-1,5 pack pet day, I had to endure 15 hours of flight, 3 hours of waiting in an airport and then another 8 hours of flight without a smoke, and I gotta tell you, it's really not as bad as a lot of smokers make it out to be. Smokers are some of the whiniest babies around, who think their choice to smoke is an excuse to polute, be obnoxious and spread disease.

They need to grow a spine and get some self respect. I've had to endure smokers crying like children for not getting 15 minute breaks every hour on a bus ride, inconveniencing everyone else.

It's been a thing here for a few years. You scan the barcode with your phone, put it in your bag, net, suitcase, whatever, and then just scan a qr code on your way out and pay with whatever payment you want. I started using it while waiting in line at a checkout, and managed to set up the app, verify my age, set up payment option, scan everything, and pack it, before the 3 people in front of me were done.

I quite like self checkout, because I am quite a bit faster at scanning my own stuff, than the old as shit people in front of me, who need to find exact cash, and need to read the entire receipt before moving, so they can complain to the cashier that they paid €0,1 too much for their carrots. Even better is mobile checkout though, so I can just scan whatever I need on my way through the shop and pay while walking out.

I could see this helping construction workers take part of the load off of their bones. I've seen so many people with fucked up bodies, from running up and down roofs with heavy equipment and materials. Something like this would be great.

It wouldn't really even need a massive battery. You could easily fit a bunch of batteries in the work van, and just swap them hourly or whatever.

Har haft dem forbi en enkelt gang. Jeg kunne simpelthen bare ikke lade være med at grine imens jeg lukkede døren, da han sagde han var fra Jehovas vidner. De har ikke været forbi siden.
