He was white. How much could one jail sentence be? 10 years?

Its sort is not a great article. They give raw numbers of things like volunteers and phone calls made, but without comparing them to anything. So you're mainly left with the title/pull quote that these numbers are crazy without an analysis of why.

I have no idea if these numbers are record setting, or how they compare to Obama's numbers after reading the article.

Caveat: I'm just using reader mode and sometimes not all of the article shows up due to paywalls, but it reads like that's the whole thing apart from a video link.

It's frustrating that if you fight against a thing and beat it, folks think there was no need to fight it in the first place. No. We routed evil temporarily. Great victory; still needs to be defeated again every time it rears its head.

I think you mean far-right trolls punch themselves in the dick by sabotaging their outreach efforts to black voters. Don't let me get in their way.

I admire your honesty and capacity for self-reflection. But shipping is huge in the Great Lakes. You can also get to the Atlantic from them.

Trump isn't going to be declared ineligible. He meets the constitutional requirements for being President. Unfortunately. We are just going to have to win the election by giving Biden more votes. And they're going to declare fraud whether he loses by 1 vote or 10 million, so let's try to just absolutely destroy them at the ballot. We can't just beat him, we have to send a message that Trump and his sycophants will never have a path to election again.

There is always a possibility of a hung jury due to a die hard Trump fanatic on the jury. But barring that, he will be found guilty. This is a documents case where there is no room for interpretation. It doesn't matter that Cohen is a liar. It doesn't matter that the defense sabotaged itself. Guilt was a foregone conclusion - to the extent it can be given a presumption of innocence.

It's like putting a color on trial for being red. You can bring in all the experts to call it pink or magenta, or question whether eyes are even real, but at the end of the day there's a legal definition and either the color matches or it doesn't.

Is this an actual gaffe, or is this like "Stand back and stand by?"

I'll be damned they were right. Taking the vaccine can have lethal side effects.

The idea that one person could generate enough benefit to mankind in a year that they have fairly earned a billion dollars is ludicrous. The existence of billionaires is self-evident proof that the system is broken. It's impossible for one person to have that through means other than denying other people their fair share.

That being the case, no one under the age of 1000 at least should ever be worth a trillion dollars.

To be honest, I never believed the laptop was real. The story about it is so fucking bonkers it beggars belief. Epstein's assassination is more plausible than "I had it through the most unlikely of circumstances, honest. But then I lost it. But just believe me, it had really incriminating stuff on it! Even before I tampered with it!"

I feel like there is still something significantly missing from the story. Although, Giuliani does continue to surprise me with stupidity and incompetence. Maybe it really is just that simple.
