Heat, drought, heavy rain and late frosts are taking a toll on German farmers. They increasingly respond with adapted varieties, new crops, modern breeding techniques and modified farming methods.

He's certainly pushing the EU to find other sources of income! I hope it works

Well, the point you now make is not grounded in fact. They have not been helping German Nazis gain influence.

That is why this close connection is important new information.

Nom-sensical as in nomnomnom tasty?

Jokes aside, it might really be good for you to look into your own family history to make sure you aren't mixing past and present.

I'm afraid you have an essentialist understanding of history. You believe that there is something deep inside Germanness or Frenchness or whatever country, and that this gives countries or citizens fixed qualities. A typical example is the hypothesis of the German sonderweg, which has been disproven by academic historical research. Or your idea here about a German drive for power.

You're probably German, so maybe you also need to look into your own family's history to see that you are not like your potential Nazi ancestor. It's really not useful to transpose your family history onto a contemporary, highly diverse country.

What does it mean to be a good person? ("caring about morality (whatever that means)"

Armenian attitudes toward the LGBTQ community have transformed in recent years, in part due to the war in Ukraine. While a queer club in Yerevan was firebombed in 2012, the capital is now home to a thriving underground drag scene. But despite these events attracting hundreds, police raids and family rejection are still commonplace.

As rise of Chinese e-commerce platforms adds to pressure, having Sundays off remains protected under Germany’s Basic Law

Every year on the third Sunday in July, dancers gather at 6 a.m. at the Chinese Tower in Munich's English Garden. What's so appealing about this old tradition?
