Not sure if they are exactly “erogenous” for me, but my shoulders started feeling intimate to touch and my cheeks feel nice to rub.

Zip up allowed me to regulate heat better.

The second I hear Freud, my instinct is to instantly disassociate. I’m not a fan of enlightenment era political thought, but I’ll try to engage.

“Homo economicus”, the idea that people act in their own economic self interest makes far too many assumptions about people’s goals and simply isn’t seen in reality. I’d say people usually want peace of mind of SOME kind. Some (like my parents) can interpret that as economic independence in the form of generational wealth, but people can interpret that DRASTICALLY differently. I see our wealth and status as land lords as a curse, where a simple family dispute can end in a random unrelated person losing their home, the polar opposite of “peace of mind” in my book. If you look around especially outside your socioeconomic sphere, you will find exceptionally diverse opinions on this, I’d consider my take still within some semblance of a “norm”.

And if you redefine “desire” as “sexuality” then it’s hardly surprising that what you now call “sexuality” reflects the desire behind one’s “mindset”. I fail to see how this is anything but word play that just makes modern people confused, considering you’re invoking a meaning that is divorced from said word by countless generations, cultures and even languages. In my personal case, my sexual, romantic and intellectual desires have little to no overlap and therefore I find it useful to describe them as such. Their only commonality is that in practice I’d prefer my romantic partner to be able to meet me in the other 2 domains, but I can get both without a romantic partner and vice verse.

From what I hear it’s different for everyone. In my case I’ve become extremely affectionate while my desire for penetrative intercourse (in any direction) has become super selective. I’ve also gained the ability to turn arousal on and off at will. Tho predominantly I just wanna rub my cheeks and cuddle everything.

Always find it curious, I have it the other way around, I know like 2 trans guys IRL.

My wording is a bit confusing, sorry about that.

Her coworkers thought she was a man because she insisted she wasn’t trans when she started working there, she still had M on her ID, so she thought it would be easier to boy mode. They thought she was a femboy while strangers just saw her as is.

That’s cool! I have a friend in a similar position, she insists that she can still boy mode, despite her “boy mode” voice sounding like when a voice actress dubs a barely pubescent boy. At her previous workplace her coworkers got a kick out of every stranger correctly assuming she was a girl and “correcting” them. Tho hearing her story made me feel a lot less anxious about my boy mode, like I don’t need to hide as much.

Same here, everyone goes crazy for it and looks at me with suspicion for not using it. And I look at them with rage when I ask them what something does because it looks sus af and they hit me with “idk, the AI wrote it, it said it had a good reason”. Or when my team lead tells me to work on his AI generated library that we ended up replacing with a 150 line class, I have no clue how he managed to generate an entire project around nothing…

So far the only actually good uses we found for it is as a companion for PRs, because the AI occasionally spots bugs relating to the bloated archaic libraries we use, and for app documentation, because we have 20 years of technical debt and lost knowledge that every human so far has refused to sit through, so an AI summary is better than nothing.

I’m in a similar camp. My attraction is almost exclusively fem leaning in practice. Even tho it’s actually about understanding and safety for me, so some men do occasionally fall under that umbrella. Tho it’s true that these men are also usually queer in some way and super kind and soft :P

I’m quite comfortable using sapphic for my self, especially since when it comes to romance, the area of attraction tightens further once emotional resonance becomes more than just a vague preference.

On The Line, a host loves using the analogy that 1% of the population is remarkably close the entire Russian population. So it’s like saying we have men, women and russians, but those don’t count, because they are an anomaly.
