Here's what it looked like:

I do agree with claiming symbols. Although, I think context matters a lot. A swastika on a Buddhist statue is great. A swastika on a skin-head's forehead sends a different message. In the same way, I think this symbol in black on the British flag could be misinterpreted. I think moving it off the flag was the best option for everyone.

I'd love your help to build the new cross to the left of the HI symbol. Currently I'm using all my pixels fixing your overwrites to the flag though. Could we work together on the cross?

@threelonmusketeers@sh.itjust.works - could you send a template for the new HI Cross? And update the Feddit template?

Yup! Would love to help with this!

Would like to reach a consensus on this. I know that some see it as the Hello Internet flag. But I think it looks more like a Cross Potent: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cross_potent https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jerusalem_cross

I don't think that's a good look on a British flag, as it's a symbol of Christian militarism. I'd propose we keep the other Hello Internet flag, but remove the Cross Potent, or move the cross to somewhere off the flag.
