Can't you store stuff under your bed though? We have several boxes under ours.
Maybe a combination of getting used to not spending money and things being increasingly shit, but I don't know what I would want to bother spending this on.
Even when I was earning £600 a month on apprentice wages in the late 2010s I don't think this would have meaningfully changed my life.
Don't have it but want to get that wood disc. But there are loads that I want and aware that I shouldn't just buy all of them.
At some point I think I should buy proper wood boards to work with. Want to make a board game - game of Ur can be carved onto a simple plank, then decorate each square with a carved shape or pattern. Coasters are another one.
Been drawing patterns lately, one I quite like is a cat with a herring bone repeating background that I hope would come out nicely as a line carving.
Remember, when the guardsmen are protecting a brutal ruler you don't need many people to ambush their convoys and share their loot with the poor.
Quite possibly, although cruises don't even cost that much if you compare them to other holiday options. Especially for what you get.
Was looking it up and if I drank more it would easily be worth it with the all inclusive drinks packages and cheaper than a lot of other "budget" holidays. But while I can happily drink over 5 pints on a rare occasion I don't really want to every day for a week.
I live near a cruise port and know a lot of people who have been on them and not had a problem.
What's with some of the really judgemental comments towards some people going on a cruise? Like what would you rather people do for a holiday
The real scam was capitalism?
Encourage your most extreme opponents that their vote doesn't work.
Isn't this advice basically the same has it has been for years if not decades? Have a few days of food and any medication. Torches, candles etc.
Annoyingly power banks are out of stock here because of this and I need a new one as my old one turned into a spicy pillow recently. Still got 1 left but its nice for us to have 1 each. Still, it lasted like 10 years so that isn't too bad.
Maybe I am being overly cynical but this sounds like a handout to fossil fuel companies to keep people using gas longer. The standing charge was an extra reason to push me towards cutting off my gas supply entirely several years ago and going fully electric.
Crazy thing is despite all the propaganda against it, my heat pump works great in my house that is almost 100 years old. A kW of heat is a kW of heat regardless of where it comes from.
