Yeh I was happy to experiment with pills and powder. But drew a line at sticking needles into myself.

At least with pills and powders you can self test small doses. To see what affect they have.

Or the scenario I have to deal with: A bunch of kids are placed in a field. Protected by guards as they grow up. No one gets taken by the wolves prowling outside. The kids then grow into adults. Have kids of their own. Decide the guards cost to much. And were clearly not needed since they never got taken by wolves as they grew up. So they sack all but one security guard….

And the wolves close in…

All the while the adults go on holidays and moan how hard they had it. And still managed to get ahead by pulling on some bootstraps.

I hope our local overlords take heed.

People are sick and tired of the inequality. Across all sectors of our society.

Well given that state and federal governments would rather build houses to sell on the open market. And avoid actually owning housing to house their underprivileged population. It’s no wonder this is the outcome.

Governments are there to support the population of their respective communities. When they only support sections of that community. They are, by definition, failing to uphold their fundamental role.

What this country needs is a fuck load of government owned housing. Until that happens. Nothing will change.

Totally true. But people are, by and large, lazy. When not directly affected by something.

Hopefully this will inject some urgency into the issue.

This is excellent news!

Why?

Because if advertising becomes a real danger to the end user. Actively blocking advertising will become essential. As it stands it’s an optional extra. And not widely used.

In the case of businesses and governments. They’ll be forced to tighten their security by baking strong ad blocking into their systems.

This can only be a win for us, end users. Who have had to deal with a tidal wave of advertising over the last decade.

Anything that forces us all to actively blocking advertising can only be a good thing.

‘In some regional areas.’ - Yep. And it won’t change a thing. There’s no political power in those regions anymore. It’s all consolidated in and around the main population hubs.

That said. It would be good governance to subsidise farmers to switch to renewables. As they do most of the heavy lifting when it comes to keeping us fed and watered…👍

And yet it will all come to nothing.

Renewables have already turned a corner within the population. And the high fuel prices have just sped its general acceptance up.

A long bow. I’ll admit. But not hard to join the dots. That said; Insurance doesn’t pay out while there is ongoing police investigations so they may be waiting a while for a yay or nay.

Additionally: https://www.abc.net.au/news/2026-10-15/criminal-gangs-making-fake-plain-packaging-cigarettes/107267606

Seems our industrious crime syndicates are setting up factories in Cambodia. Manufacturing cheap ciggies with the correct plain packaging…🤣

I tried twice last year. They knocked me back both times. Apparently being dehydrated caused my veins to be hard to see. Fucking annoying when I wasn’t dehydrated. Just fat.

The pathologist managed to take blood for sampling. But the blood donor centre didn’t even bother trying.

That same demographic was also affecting the persistent inflation issue with post retirement spending. But of course that little bit of information keeps getting pushed out of the way.

And why would anyone who owns a large home with little to no mortgage want to downsize? Where’s the incentive? I have family and some older work colleagues who are in this exact situation. And they just bitch on about how terrible Labor is. All the while decrying the stalled house prices.

It’s like a social sickness.
