I think whatever is required for third party apps and stores should also be required for play store. No special treatment for their own files.
Eg: "Warning: Are you sure you trust GooglePlayStore.apk? This software might be harmful."
I reckon that Google would magically get the messaging exactly right with that requirement.

It's a sequel to star wars episode 1 racer that was released on PS2 however the version used for this is the physical PS4 version which was produced by limited run games in limited quantities.
Nobody said you need to play a modern game. Just play an older or indie game and enjoy gloriousness.
Xbox series s/x has ssds like this but they're pretty expensive. Not sure if the price is high because of the tech, the specs or the licensing
Some other options.
If you have a joystick or wheel, flight Sims, space sims, racing games might be possible.
RTS games in single player mode (just play on an easier difficulty). Plenty of decent ones have been released in the last little while. Also, maybe 4x games, total war etc.
Digital Board Games might work too.
