To prevent people from stealing them. I'm pretty sure most places just have integrated LED fixtures nowadays.

Must not be a lot of ground level new shoots for it to go dining up in a shrub like that, you can see the twig it was monching on pretty clearly in the second pic.

One grandma thought cooking from scratch was old fashioned, so everything came from a box or can, and the other grandma cooked 99% from a 1950 betty crocker cookbook and a USDA home canning/pressure cooker bulletin. The chain of heirloom recipes being passed down was broken a generation or two earlier.

While doing genealogy research I found it quite common in rural norway in the 18th and 19th century for women to have a child every two years until their early to mid fifties. Sometimes they'd have as many as 18 children.

Beat me to it, a lot of the apartments around here built prior to AC had these, but many have since been removed or enclosed into conditioned living space. All you'd need is a bug net on a balcony to recreate it, unless you sleep in the buff.

You can also enable Group Policy Editor for Home Edition if you're willing to run a batch file from the internet.

Something similar happened to me while playing catan at a friends place and it was pretty weird. One of the sublets we didn't know very well had a new lady friend over ever month. The lady of the month walked into the kitchen in just panties and asked what we were playing. She obviously didn't get the response she was hoping for and left with a disapointed look on her face. We all wondered if she was hoping to fluster a bunch of "virgin nerds" like some corney early 2000s movie in order to stroke her ego.

Flock charges $350 per solar panel replacement , if you are in California it'd take a little less than 3 solar panels for it to reach a felony charge at $950. Again IANAL.

Probably don't want to add theft to destruction of property charges, especially since at a certain $ value stolen it gets bumped up to a felony but ianal.

It looks like they use an adhesive backed fabric like a skull cap that the hat is then affixed to. I imagine this is less likely to irritate or injure the bird than a chin (bill?) strap.
