I use Debian as my daily driver
Chances are that you would find Ubuntu not just more complicated, but unneccessary complicated.
Stay with Debian. It can do everything.
Oops, sorry, I was wrong. I am not using TB anymore on my Android, but the "Edison mail" app. Free version, non premium. It can do the folders.
